Pelvic Diaphragm Breathing practice
The pelvic diaphragm is living intelligent matter.
As opposed to the old term “pelvic floor” which implies an inanimate immovable structure.
It sends signals to and from the tissues and nerves of the pelvis and genitals and gives feedback to the brain.
In order to be healthy it needs to be able to move through its FULL range of movement (expanding and contracting)
A healthy pelvic diaphragm is both supple and strong.
Pelvic diaphragm breathing increases circulation to the tissues of the pelvis and genitals delivering them fresh oxygenated blood and nutrients, which is really important for both female and male pleasure, sexual function and reproduction.
Pelvic Diaphragm breathing also increases somatic awareness and supports strengthening the neural connections to this part of the body and brain.
This practice can be done for 3-5 minutes/day, in your car, while watching tv or sitting at a desk, whilst walking etc.
